Christmas Concert: Ding Dong Merrily on High

Join us for an evening of festive music and reflection as Mid Sussex Choir presents Benjamin Britten’s "A Ceremony of Carols", featuring harpist Isabel Samuel.

The programme sparkles with Christmas favourites old and new — from Rutter’s "What Sweeter Music" and Howells’ "A Spotless Rose" to lively carols for choir and audience, including “Once in Royal David’s City”, “O Come All Ye Faithful”, and “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.”

Beautiful solos and duets by Head, Coates, and Vivaldi add contrast and warmth, while the choir closes with the luminous “Glow” by Eric Whitacre and a joyful encore of “Jingle Bells.”
