Charity Fund Raising

Charity Fund Raising

Mid Sussex Choir was formed to fund-raise for a local charity in the post-War austerity of the 1940s.   Our charity work has continued ever since.   The choir supports local charities by fund-raising in retiring collections from concerts and performing at charity events to help them fund-raise.    We continue to support other charities every year.   We have taken part in fund-raising concerts at St Peter's Church, Chailey where, as part of a multi-talented group of performers, we have entertained a local audience with solos, piano pieces, monologues and extracts from our repertoire.  If you represent a local charity and are looking for additional funding why not contact us: contact@midsussexchoir.org.uk    We select a new charity every autumn for support during the following season and we're  always interested to hear from local charities looking for small amounts of additional funding.   We can't promise a fortune, but we are happy to help in our small way.

Although I had sung in choirs when I was younger the fact that Mid Sussex Choir does not require auditions was a great help in my decision to join!  Membership of the choir has increased my confidence levels.  Rehearsals are always great fun and I enjoy singing in harmony with a friendly bunch of people.”
