For over 70 years, The Mid Sussex Choir has provided a local opportunity for amateur choral singing.  It is a friendly choir to sing with – very much a community – asking of its members only that they love singing in tune and in harmony with their fellow choristers and apply themselves by attending regular rehearsals and practising/learning new music at home between rehearsals. Under the genial baton of Andrew Sutton, it offers a happy atmosphere in which good singing thrives.

We rehearse for two hours starting at 7.45 p.m. on Wednesday evenings at the Methodist Church, Perrymount Road, Haywards Heath, RH16 3DN between September and June every year. Map

We hold taster sessions every summer for potential new members, when current members try out new music, and you can discover if the choir is a group you would like to join.  This year they are on 7th and 14th June. Do come along and give it a go!

The Mid Sussex Choir traditionally supports a local charity each year, in addition to fund raising for the choir itself, which is a registered charity. During the 2015 season we raised £220 for the Shoreham RNLI and the choir supported local charity Cancervive in 2016, raising nearly £250.
